Melaka, Malaysia, 22nd December 2015 – Philea Resort and Spa, Melaka hosts a fun Christmas party for 48 special children and young adults of Wings Melaka.

Held at the ballroom on 22 December 2015, the dinner party for 48 children and young adults from Wings Melaka was hosted as part of the resort’s corporate social responsibility commitment to address the needs of the community especially the underprivileged. With the generous support from the public, resort guests and resort associates, all the children went home with Christmas presents, a full tummy and lots of Christmas cheer to last all.

Joining in the fun with the children and young adults were the resort general manager Lim Beng Weh and head of departments.

This community initiative also known as Christmas Wish Tree campaign launched on 1st December where 48 children and young adults, aged three to 23, had earlier written down their wish gift which were then hung on a Christmas tree at the lobby of Philea Resort and Spa, Melaka. Public, resort guests and resort associates made the children’s wishes come true by selecting a wish card and bought the gift they wished for ranging from educational toys and bicycles to schooling material and new outfits. The excitement lit up the air as the children couldn’t wait any longer to open their presents and checking out what each other received.

“Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year and we would like to share this joy with the people in our community. This is the second year that Philea undertaken the Christmas Wish Tree charity campaign and we hope to see the joy on the faces of the children when their wishes transform into reality. And we hope to continue this for many years to come,” said Lim Beng Weh, the resort general manager.

Before the end of the session, the resort associates serenaded the children and young adults with fun dance and Santa Claus made appearance for candy giveaway for kids.

Melaka Butterfly And Reptile Sanctuary

Butterfly And Reptile Sanctuary is a vacation destination in Ayer Keroh, around 15km upper east of Malacca town. Otherwise called Taman Rama, it is home to a gathering of creatures running from delightful butterflies to snakes, reptiles, crocodiles, koi fish and even a couple of exquisite brilliant panthers.

Spread over a 11 hectar wilderness region, the complex is part auxiliary wilderness and part arranged park. The very much kept up asylum was opened in 1991 and is isolated into five areas: the Koi River Valley, Butterfly Garden, Reptile Aviary, Wild Photo Lane and Nature’s Art Center.

Butterfly Garden

To begin with up is the stroll through Butterfly Garden, the Butterfly and Reptile Sanctuary’s chief fascination. It is a spot where many butterflies, just overflowing with hues, fly openly.

The greenery enclosure has more than 20 unique types of butterflies, including the Black and White Helen, Malayan Birdwing, and the Rajah Brooke’s Birdwing (Malaysia’s National Butterfly, named after Sir James Brooke, the “Raja” (King) of Sarawak).

The hot springs attract tourists in general, as there are many health benefits associated with them. On your trip to Melaka, you can visit the famous Gadek Hot Springs, which is one of the main tourist attractions in Melaka.

Gadek Hot Springs Melaka can be seen here in Kampung Ganun within the district of Alor Gajah that is situated at the distance of around thirty kilometers from the main city of Melaka.

Gadek Hot Springs Melaka is an ideal place to visit for the tourists and for the locals as well to spend their vacations. It can also be visited at night, but I may suggest that you must spend the whole day here to view the beautiful scenery of hot springs which emerges from the rocky surface and widens the eye of those who develops the special love of nature in their souls. These hot springs are showered in such a way that it flows through tiny narrow pipes and forms a pool stands of numerous magnitudes.

When we entered this place the atmosphere in the shelters constructed was extremely hot in real as we travelled in an hour time from the Melaka city. Map of whole Melaka town is available at every petrol stations published by World Express Mapping service feasible for every tourist in order to travel accordingly at the right place.

Are you really aware of the past reality of fascinating Gadek Hot Springs Melaka. If not fully aware then I would add some extra for you that it is located in the rural vicinity of the town as the name is concerned, it gives an image of bringing yourself very close to nature and it is situated right at the corner as you pass the city and you may hardly find its reason of existence in the past. It was ideally believed by historians that it was discovered and gradually developed in the year of 1980s by their villagers as some of the British soldiers tried to dwell in here and enhanced its attractions for the tourism purpose.

For those who are novice to Melaka can be rightly guided if you are in the Mahkota Parade Hotel, you must straightly travel towards the Ayer Keroh toll plaza by following the NSE that possesses the emblem of KL; on the right Johor Bahru junction is seen at the exit of Ayer Keroh. Then you will find a splitted exchange where you have to travel further towards Alor Gajah Town and I may suggest that never try to oversee interchange when departing Alor Gajah. Then you may experience that Gadek Hot Springs Melaka is now around ten to fifteen minutes distanced from Alor Gajah Town.

Another route for travelling to view the spot of Gadek Hot Springs can be seen if we travel via Simpang Empat (Alor Gajah) highway and move towards Alor Gajah city where the emblem of Gadek Hot Springs can be seen. I may also suggest that if you get confused with the route then you can easily travel back towards Alor Gajah toll at Ayer Keroh without paying. In Tesco; Melaka Sentral, you can trace the highway that takes you to Alor Gajah toll; a straight road at the distance of twenty to thirty minutes through Jalan Malim to reach Alor Gajah city.
