Old Master Q or better known as “老夫子” (Lao Fu Zi) is a well-known Chinese comic created by Alfonso Wong that has remained a big hit even till today as it has been a prominent childhood memory for many.
The main protagonist of the series is Old Master Q, an aged, gangly man dressed in an old-fashioned Chinese costume who lives his life in a very unconventional manner whereby he and his friends many a time fall into and out of trouble.
The mischievous Old Master Q who is still a child at heart has friends which include the particularly chubby and similarly-dressed Big Potato as well as the good looking sidekick, Mr. Chin and together the trio is dubbed as the “cool gang”. On the other hand, other acquaintances include Mr. Chiu and Miss Chen.
The nature of the series depicts the everyday life incidents of Old Master Q and friends as they embrace them with a positive manner with
a hint of humour.
