Mahkota Medical Centre (MMC) has established itself as a tertiary hospital of repute in Malaysia and in the region, providing quality medical services at

affordable rates. Managed and owned by Health Management International Ltd (HMI), a listed entity on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) since 1999. the hospital plays a vital part to the healthcare group’s operations.

The hospital is currently staffed with 61 full time medical specialists of various disciplines. MMC’s management comprises of personnel with varying qualifications. There is a good mixture of personnel who has been with the company since its inception and those who have recently joined from other established organisations.

The hospital currently manages 288 beds in six wards, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Coronary Care Unit (CCU) and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). The hospital also operates other medical facilities including nine major Operating Rooms (ORs) and one Minor ORs, Radiology Services, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Day Procedure Unit, Health Screening Services, Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy Services, IVF Services, Haemodialysis Services, Physiotherapy Services and Dental Services..

Besides the core services, the hospital also provides other services including the cafeteria and retail facilities on the ground floor.
Mahkota Medical Centre is actively involved in “Health Tourism” which is strongly supported by the Malaysian government. Statistically, more than 50,000 foreign patients come to Mahkota Medical Centre for medical treatment annually.
